Samsung has announced an update to its wearables catalog, including a new Gear Sport smartwatch, Gear Fit2 Pro fitness tracker, and new Gear IconX earbuds.

Samsung has had a busy start to this year’s IFA trade show, wherein the company has announced not only a new smartwatch in the form of the Gear Sport, but further an updated fitness tracker in the form of the Fit2 Pro and new Gear IconX earbuds.

Starting at the top, the Gear Sport is a fitness-savvy smartwatch with a round display inherited from earlier efforts such as the Gear S3; the Gear Sport accommodates a 360×360 AMOLED display and a 20mm strap.

The smartwatch runs on Tizen rather than Android, and includes a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4GB of internal storage, and 768MB of RAM. The device is powered by a 300mAh battery, and Samsung has offered that the device will become available for purchase this holiday season, when pricing and local availability will be announced.

The Gear Fit2 Pro serves as a fitness tracker rather than an all-out smartwatch, and includes a 1.5″ 216×432 AMOLED display. Under the hood, the Fit2Pro accommodates a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4GB of storage, and 512MB of RAM coupled with a 2,00mAh battery.

The Fit2 Pro arrives in two different sizes, and is set to become available for pre-order on August 31st, while the device will ship for $199.99 USD from September 15th onwards.

Lastly, the final item in Samsung’s updated lineup is an updated Gear IconX – the wireless earbuds Samsung has quietly promoted as its alternative to Apple’s AirPods. The new Gear IconX buds include a refined, lightweight design available in Black, Gray, and Pink, and further supports Bixby with unique activation gestures.

The new Gear IconX buds offer five hours of music streaming or seven hours of standalone playback – the latter of which can take place through 4GB of internal storage. The device ships with a charging case, and is set to be released towards the end of the year when official pricing will be announced.
