Samsung Galaxy SIV design potentially leaked

Renowned techno savant @evleaks on Twitter somehow gets very reliable information on a regular basis about new devices. Yesterday, just ten days before the March 14th launch date of the new super phone, he posted pictures of a rendered Galaxy SIV. The second image shows the same mockup alongside the previous Galaxy phones, also confirming its status as the largest one yet.

The supposed specs are 2GB of RAM in conjunction with 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, a 13MP camera and running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Previous rumours pointed towards the screen being 4.99 inches large, which would not be surprising given recent trends of larger and larger devices.

While @evleaks is known for his accuracy when leaking details about devices, we will be reserving our judgement until March 14th for one big reason. The supposed design in the images is dead boring, possibly way too simplistic for the Korean company. If this is how the device looks, though, they have at least listened to fans who asked for a device where the bezel is smaller, lending more room to the screen.

Another question that these pictures don‘t answer is what the device will be made of. We are becoming extremely irritated at Samsung for sticking with their plastic designs. We hope they will at least start fitting better materials to their flagship phones in the coming months and years.

What do you think of the supposed Galaxy SIV?

    • but the SIII is so good looking! why mess with a good thing? tut tut…

It is not a phone, it is a tablet. The S4 should now be moved to the tablet category? If every new version is half inch bigger, it will start to compete with 7″ tablets, even more so with the Note?

    • Me

Look at the main pic – Android 4.2 is not Jelly Bean…

      • Theunis Jansen van Rensburg

I don’t know what you are referring to. I have had 4.2 on my device for a while, and yes, it’s Jelly Bean. The main pic you are referring to even says Jelly Bean?

    • @TechInterest
It is a Phablet,,,,,,in other words a cross between a smart phone and a tabled. 🙂
And I agree, my S3 looks better.

    • Jack

I ain’t buy it. because I hate big phone as tablet. I will rather stay as S2 gio or S3 Mini

    • ryan

way to big, most hipsters wont be able to fit that into there skinny jean pockets

    • Sigh, the scale in that picture is way wrong… Differenec in size between S1, S2, S3 is NOT that big, theyre almost the exact same height.

      • Theunis Jansen van Rensburg

The picture isn’t meant to be scale, it just shows every iteration has increased in size. The S1, S2 and S3 definitely is not almost the exact same size.

    • Anything is better than a CrApple.
SIII is by far the sexiest between the lot. I will not buy it if it is bigger than a Note.
