The latest titbit of information about the OnePlus 2 comes surrounding the pricing of the upcoming device, which looks set to be affordable.
We are hoping to see OnePlus devices on our shores very soon. Sure, their first phone was marred by manufacturing delays and supply problems, but OnePlus have said that these problems won‘t repeat themselves.
The OnePlus One was met with critical acclaim, but had a bizarre invite system in order to purchase the phone. This was mostly because of supply delays, but we also think it might have been a way to build more hype around the company and their products.
The latest titbit of information about the OnePlus 2 comes surrounding the pricing of the upcoming device, as Pete Lau, the company’s CEO, has stated that the device will cost less than $450. Some of the internals have slowly been revealed by the company over the last couple of weeks, with the official launch imminent at the end of the month.
We already know that the device will use USB Type-C, feature a Snapdragon 810 processor, and have a ‘lightning quick’ fingerprint scanner, but the rest is left unknown at this point. Hopefully OnePlus can ramp up production and roll out the device to more markets around the world.
