We are only a couple of days away from the start of IFA 2015, and we are also expecting announcements from Apple and others in the days leading up to the show and thereafter. This next week is extremely exciting for any tech enthusiast, and now we have confirmation of another exciting announcement we have been waiting for quite some time.
We weren‘t expecting it so soon, but the new Moto 360 will be launched on September 8th, no doubt trying to steal some light from the new iPhone announcement(s) on the next day. The press affair is labelled with a not-so-cryptic “œIt‘s time“ tag, and the invitation is made complete by a picture very clearly showing the top half of a new Moto 360 smartwatch.
The invitation doesn‘t show us any more detail than we have seen from previous leaks and renders, although it does show off a gold model we didn‘t know existed, accompanied by a swanky gold band as well. We‘re not sure if a very expensive, premium Android Wear watch will ever sell, but now that you can use Android Wear on iOS, there may be a market there for Motorola.
Be sure to stay tuned for more news regarding the Moto 360 and other upcoming smartwatches which will undoubtedly come to light over the next 7 days.
