Gust Pay launched the official mobile festival guide for Rocking the Daisies 2013 last week.
The “Daisies 2013” app has received many 5 star reviews over the last few days and makes use of advanced navigation features and sensors found in iOS and Android smartphones.
The app was built by Gust Pay in partnership with Red Bull MOBILE and designed by Seed Experiences. Rocking the Daisies is South Africa’s leading music and lifestyle festival.
The 2013 app is a guide to the 8th (sold out) Rocking the Daisies event, held on 3-6 October 2013, just outside Cape Town, which attracts around 16,000 people
every year. This award winning festival combines the best of local and international entertainment.
“The Daisies 2013 app raises the bar for festival apps in terms of design and features. Music festival environments are perfect for mobile apps as we need quick access to relevant information. This app is a great example of using location services and the range of sensors in our smartphones today,” says Joe Botha, one of the founders of Gust Pay.

The Daisies app lets you build your own custom schedule. It includes all the important GPS coordinates and lets you navigate using a 2D map and Augmented Reality view. Best of all it lets you save your car and tent locations so you can easily find them later. A longer list of features is available here.
