Here is some good news for FNB customers – you can now use your eBucks on the popular design retailer website, Citymob.
FNBâ€™s ever popular loyalty programme has added the equally popular Citymob to its growing list of online partners as both an earn and spend partner, Â which has already been active since the 1st August.
The designer retail store now joins the likes of popular online stores such as Kalahari.com, Takealot.com, Netflorist, Zando, Yuppiechef and Cybercellar.
Citymob, which hosts an array of different designer goods on their site, already has an air of exclusivity about them, and the addition of eBucks spending and earning will simply further that intention.
The online retailer works on an invite-only basis and offer their designer products for a limited time only and in a limited number.
The partnership works as follows; Citymob customers (who, of course, bank with FNB) are able to earn eBucks when shopping on the site, and are also able to spend their eBucks whilst shopping.
Also, customers who pay with a qualifying FNB or RMB Private Bank card that has in turn been linked to their eBucks account, will earn additional eBucks from the same transaction.
FNB eBucks clients also earn 4% of their Citymob spend back in eBucks if they enter their valid South African ID number upon check out. Yet another clever benefit from this partnership.
eBucks CEO, Jolande Duvenage said the number of South Africans coming online to shop is increasing and that FNB will ensure to provide them with a range of safe and convenient ways to do online transactions.
Cityob, which has grown since itâ€™s inception, started out as a daily-deals store during the height of its popularity andÂ was also ranked as one of South Africaâ€™s top 5 e-commerce sites over the 2012 holiday season.
The site has since undergone a significant shift in strategy from their original daily-deals model. The partnership with eBucks is part of the companyâ€™s improved strategy to grow its user numbers and offer more products.
This also follows a partnership with online retailer, wantitall.co.za, that was formed in April of this year.
Citymobâ€™s co-founders, Claude Hanan and Luke Jedeikin, have said that they plan to boost its user base to between 700, 000 and 800, 000 by the end of the year.
With a clever partnership with the countryâ€™s most popular loyalty programme, they are sure moving in the right direction.
