Disney’s Star Wars Land is still light years away and is presently under construction, but the firm has teased a new concept image of what fans can expect.
The Bandwidth Blog team are unashamed Star Wars nuts, and we couldn’t contain our excitement when we first got wind that Disney is bringing the galaxy far, far away just a little closer with the development of a theme park titled Star Wars Land.
While the actual reveal of the theme park might be several years away, that hasn’t stopped Disney from teasing a new concept image of just what we can expect from its newest creation.
The image below includes a number of landmarks and vehicles Star Wars fans will recognise.
Among them, there’s an Imperial Shuttle – the same kind Darth Vader rolls around the neighbourhood in – as well as a Blockade Runner (seen in the opening sequence of the first film, A New Hope) as well as the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy – the Millenium Falcon – in the top center of the image.
The image depicts a lived in, Star Wars feel, and is greatly reminiscent of the city of Theed on Naboo (from the first chronological Star Wars film, The Phantom Menace).
Star Wars Land is set to be unveiled at two different locations; the first at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and the second in Anaheim, California. It is presently uncertain as to which location the concept art is meant to depict.
