CEO Jose dos Santos has confirmed that February is the expected date for the launch of Cell C Fibre to the Home.
In conversation with Bruce Whitfield on CNBC’s MoneyMakers, CEO Jose dos Santos has confirmed that February will see a surprising rollout – the release of Cell C Fibre to the Home, or FTTH.
dos Santos confirmed that Cell C is set to launch FTTH products within the next 4-5 weeks, and highly aggressive pricing and large data allowances.
Dos Santos cited that the need for Cell C Fibre to the Home had become prevalent following the arrival of streaming services in South Africa, such as the likes of the newly international Netflix or local challenger ShowMax.
Citing the need for high internet speeds and large data allowances, dos Santos confirmed that Cell C would move into the market to provide service to consumers weary of paying exorbitant prices for such services.
