The first phone that is to come out of Motorola after it was bought from Google by Lenovo is to see the light of day very soon. However, wraps may have been taken off the device sooner than Motorola intended, as the announcement is set for May 13th.
A Brazilian retailer FastShop have inadvertently leaked the specification of the device on their website. The leak shows us that, as expected, the Moto E will be a device positioned below the already cheap Moto G, to become the company‘s ultra-cheap competitor in the developing world.
The device has a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon paired with 1GB RAM, 4GB storage, a 1,980mAh battery and a 4.3-inch display. We have no notice on pricing at this stage, but is will obviously be cheaper than the Moto G.
