The finger-licking goodness is celebrating 60 years of serving chicken meals. Recently KFC released a YouTube video teasing the arrival of its new Memories Bucket.
The Memories bucket is a Bluetooth-enabled bucket of chicken pieces (weird combo!). It connects to your smartphone or tablet and allows you to print out Polaroid-style photos of whatever strange poses you strike with a chicken-wing in each hand. The photos appear from a hidden compartment at the base of the Memories Bucket, leading us to believe that it holds less chicken than a regular bucket, which is somewhat of a step backwards in chicken-holding technology.
Interestingly enough this isn’t KFC’s first foray into matching technology with their fast food. Around two months ago German chicken lovers were gifted with paper-thin disposable Bluetooth keyboards instead of tray liners, allowing them to chow down and chat without greasing up their smartphones.
Check out the Memories bucket video below, because you know – being bloated, covered in chicken grease and filled with regret is the perfect time for a photo opportunity!
