For a smartphone of this magnitude, we certainly aren‘t going to see anything unexpected at the launch event Samsung is putting on next week. Leaks of the Galaxy Note 5 have flooded the web, from specs to renders, and now high-res hands-on pics.
Samsung hasn‘t even confirmed that we going to see the Galaxy Note 5 at next week‘s event, but the rumours are undoubtedly definitive. And even if they weren‘t planning on revealing the Galaxy Note 5, they might as well after the latest round of leaks.
The hardware layout visible here is consistent with recent publications, including the curved edges we reported on previously (and mentioned in Episode 3 of Bandwidth Blog On Air) and the similar S Pen design to last year. The photo of the bottom of the device does lend credence to the titbit about the S Pen releasing with a spring mechanism ““ we can‘t see an obvious lip to remove it with here.
The display looks bright and beautiful as expected, and with it switched on we can see just how narrow those bezels are. It should make the device feel slightly smaller in the hand, which is always good with a phablet.
We will have more concrete information on the Galaxy Note 5 next week after Samsung‘s Unpacked event. In the meantime, let us know what you are looking for from Samsung‘s new phablet in the comments below.
