    A little about us

Bandwidth Blog had its humble beginnings as the personal weblog of Charl Norman, a Cape Town based technology entrepreneur.  Founded in 2006, Bandwidth Blog has grown over the past ten years to become one of South Africa’s leading technology news publications.

Interesting is an over-used word, but it’s one that sits close at the heart of our ideology; we believe in sharing relevant, exciting technology news stories that our readers love to engage with.

    Some housekeeping:

We do not accept or republish articles from third parties with anything other than no-follow links.

We’d love to hear your story, but please make sure any pitch is directed towards our editorial niches. We cover international and South African mobile, technology, and science news.

If your post is sponsored, it will be marked accordingly on our home page. No ifs, buts, or wants.

Please make sure you provide us with your name and correct contact details so that we’ll be able to revert to you as promptly as possible.

    Let’s get in touch!

To send us a press release, get in touch with a breaking story or send us your awesome gadget to feature, contact our Editor in Chief Theunis van Rensburg through editor[at]bandwidthblog[dot]com, or through his Twitter account, @Theunis_BWB.

If you have a suggestion, lead or interview request, or would like to advertise on Bandwidth Blog,  contact our General Manager Bryan Smith through bryan[at]bandwidthblog[dot]com, or through his Twitter account, @bryansmithSA.
