iStore has announced the South African pricing for Apple’s newest smartphone duo, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

Apple announced not only the shiny new iPhone X at its September special event, but further a new ‘standard’ duo in the form of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus – and now both handsets have acquired South African pricing from iStore.

Arriving in Silver, Space Grey, and Gold, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are slated to become available from the 20th of October in South Africa.

In terms of pricing, the iPhone 8 will retail for R13,499 ZAR for a 64GB edition, while a 256GB edition will set consumers back R16,499 ZAR.

The loftier and larger iPhone 8 Plus will retail for R15,499 ZAR at 64GB, while a 256GB version will set consumers back R18,499 ZAR.

iStore will further provide two new offers with the debut of each handset; those who upgrade to the iPhone 8 will receive a free subscription to iCare Plus which will accommodate a complimentary two-year extended warranty and a free screen repair.

For those looking to dispense with their old iPhone and embrace the new, Double Trade In will allow consumers to trade in two qualifying iOS products towards their upgrade.

Telkom Mobile has announced its monthly contract prices for either handset:
