Product specification leaks pinpoint that a OnePlus 2 Mini might be set for imminent arrival, carrying a full HD screen a 4GB of RAM.
As OnePlus slowly phases out its unpopular invitation-based system for purchasing its flagship devices, the company might be set to introduce a new product to the market in an entirely different segment; the OnePlus 2 Mini.
The device, which was leaked through GFX Bench, is rumoured to bring a full HD display, an Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.7Ghz, 4GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, and 12 and 4.8 megapixel primary and secondary cameras respectively.
The OnePlus 2 Mini, which, by all accounts, could also be an early OnePlus 3 Mini, would compete directly with Sony’s Xperia Z5 Compact – and, in OnePlus fashion, would likely undercut the former’s price by a significant amount.
Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop, the OnePlus 2 Mini would pack in an astonishing 479ppi count on a small 4.6″ display if indications that the display is full 1080p are true.
Presently, there’s no word on whether the device actually exists and if rumours are legitimate, nor has there been any confirmation on pricing or availability options.
